    I used to try to get involved with extended customer service but kind of got in trouble with some of the business units trying to extend warranty even where I thought it would do some good. For the most part, I need to stay neutral since some feel I was stepping on toes. I will inquire about your situation and make sure it was addressed.
    Hope this helps and they get you taken care of. I have had a number of Elite hoods that get used regularly at my shop and at shows that I do and besides a couple of head gear issues on the earlier ones, all my hoods are still cookin along.
