Roughneck 2e no weld or power
I recently aquired a 1977 roughneck 2e. have the engine running fair right now, but all at once it quit putting out power. I cleaned the slip rings and brushes to no avail, and discovered I have no power at the brushes. If I jump a wire from the battery to the + brush I get about 20v at the outlet....

XMT-300 turns on but will not hold an arc to weld
Help i need some advice. My new old 300 turns on all relays kick in and you can see plenty of amperage when you try to weld. The problem is that after the starter arc the machine seems to lose power. the arc wont carry and there is no welding when stick welding. I haven't tried tig yet mainly because...
