is it safe to weld on the trailer that my engine driven welder is mounted on?

i recently purchased a canox engine driven welder and trailer. i would like to do some welding on the trailer it self like welding a tool box on . boxing in and locking my cables . along with some outriggers on the sides and back for torches and other gear. problem is i do not own a tripod or hoist...

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I recently bought a Miller Legend NT (S/N: LA055608) for my start-up mobile welding business. It runs well, has low hours, and was an excellent price!
