Miller wirefeeder question

I have a late 80's Millermatic S-52E wire-feer. The hose/gun assembly is shot. When ordering a new hose is the backend that same for all Miller wire feeders? I have both Tweco and Bernard guns.

My connector pin measures 0.672" OD and the new style measure 0.620"OD.

I have a late '80's S-52E wire feeder that has given excellent service. I am looking at ordering a new gun and hose. My question is do I specify the backend is Miller and that is all that's needed to get the correct gun. The brass plug that slides into the feeder has two o-rings that seal off the argon....

Is the Optima pulser pendant the best means for a spatter free weld?
Fast forward to the current line of pulsing MIG machines offered by Miller is the Optima just built-in to either the 252 or 350?
We're looking to reduce clean up as much as possible.

What steps did you take to keep it level and flat? I had a customer bring a John Deere bucket over that is used for snow removal. Lite duty bucket and it's just about worn out. To air arc or plasma gouge 13 feet of weld and then re-weld the same and have a crooked bucket has me concerned.
