I have been around for a while and I must say that I liked the original version as well I will lend my support to the MF (miller forum) and hope they come through. I do still come by to read when I can. You all keep writing!

I sure need to check back here more often! I was at Gateway on the first day and watched most of the feeds. I would have liked to be able to meet you this time around but next year if you punish yourself through it again will be good. Thanks for the great play by play. Jeff.

I am happy to see that Miller is still in the customer service buisines. They went above and beyond for me several years ago and I still tell every one I can about it.

I don't know how much room you have but a good safe storage space is a 20 ft shipping container. They can be bought fairly cheap and are pretty tough to get into, especially if you fab up a bar through the doors with a shielded lock box. The top makes good loft storage if your shop is tall too.

Just looked at the link to manual switches.....sure wish I would have used a gen ready main panel on the house I am building RIGHT NOW! Too far into it to change now. I powered some apartments I used to own with cords by changing from unit to unit during an ice storm a few years ago, not easy but saved...

The ride in the trailer seems to be worse than any track(at least on Illinois highways)! Most around here use a bag under the car. I almost went the dragster route a couple of times but I still have the old door car. Oh well...think spring as we have new owners for Gateway up here, we missed a season...

Just wondering if that is a repair from a crash or fatigue crack replacement. I have seen a few fatigue issues on a couple of other brands after a lot of laps. It looks good! Jeff

I am sure glad to see that the marketing folks are looking at the motorsports world again! Lincoln has been a front line player with their display truck at many different venues for years. Now if only Miller had a couple of really cool trucks roaming the country as well.......oh wait! Already out there!...

Mine did a beautiful job with an xrm push pull feeder though! They do show up now and then for sale and will do some nice work on thin stuff with practice. Sorry for the answer that really has nothing to do with our question though. Jeff

I am not trying to state the obvious but in post #6 it says that the problem is that it bleeds down when the tank is closed. The bottles are shipped and stored with the tank valve closed; nothing is screwed into them and they do not leak. My regulators do bleed off after I shut down and close the valves...

If it leaks down when the tank is shut off then it is a problem with the bottle. I got a tank with a bad valve a while back and the gas co just exchanged it for a new full bottle. If the valve is bad then nothing down stream matters. JEFF

If the gun itself is good then I would take it to my LWS and buy a liner...twenty bucks or so ! Good to go, JEFF
