Wow, thanks for all the info guys, I appreciate it.. I looked at the pin locations on our RFCS 14HD at work and it's the same as mine... I will look into the cheaper suppliers you have suggested...thanks again gir your input.

Just did mine yesterday using fine sandpaper and WD40, pushing down and keeping flat while sanding on my table, then wipe down with acetone, reinstall and gap..

Which pedal do I need ?
Guys, looking to buy a new pedal for my syncrowave 200 but my manual has 5 different options..which one do I need, or would all 5 actually work? On the front of my machine it says "Remote 14" and it has 5 pins...thanks for any help....

FIXED !! Ok guys I had a chance to look at it today and first thing I looked at was the foot pedal controller. It had a lot of lizard eggs and roach poop inside, I cleaned it out and sprayed some WD40 on the rheostat controller and it works like a charm..while I was at I I took all the covers off and...

Thanks guys, yes I tried moving the switch back and forth but still nothing, I have not tried stick welding with it yet, but will try sometime next week after work..first gonna try blowing everything out and check the points, then stick weld if needed...thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep you upd...

Titanium to Stainless ?
Im thinking its not possible, but i was wondering if i can tack tig weld some stainless to titanium for an art project im thinking about ?
Has anyone tried this before and had success ? I only have enough parts for the project so i cant really experiment. It will be just some tack welds about...

Thanks guys.. after looking at some pics of the installed roll bar, the welded joints are definitely mig welded and we are now 99% sure the cage is mild steel, so the supports we're adding which are also mild steel will get mig welded.. wish i could get my tig machine to his shop, but mig it is.. thanks...

welding Mild steel to Chromemolly roll cage
Got a question for you all.
My buddy has a race car that's an older build and we are adding some extra bracing to the roll cage with mild steel 1-5/8 tubing. We are pretty sure the cage is also mild steel, but if it were chromolly, would there any trouble in MIG welding the mild steel bracing...

thanks man.. that explains it.. impurities right in this area where there was hydraulic fluid....
i finally got it welded, after the regrinds and rewelds, but aint guaranteeing it wont leak.
from the moment i tried to tack it i knew it was gonna be a pain, and should have not messed with...
