I made a cart earlier this year, for an ebay find I picked up. It's a Lencospot II, originally badged as a Snap-On. I've already put it to use__machine and cart__and I'm very pleased with both!
A plan:
Voila!
Getting the finished cart,...

I tried to access the forum a week or so ago (obviously, I'm not a major contributor here) and thought it just went away. I got an E-mail earlier today about the new Dynasty 210s and clicked the link; through the "Resources" tab, I saw forums and found you guys again!

Whole cart project pictures here: http://spcarsplus.com/gallery3/index...spot-II?page=1
I've been putting it to good use the past few days; installing an E-46 M3 trunkfloor assembly in the back of an E-46 (BMW) Touring (aka station wagon) so the owner can complete...

As much as I wanted to keep my welding machines TRUE BLUE, Miller just didn't have what I needed for a current project. I'd been looking at Miller's spot welders for many years, but waited until a job came in that justified their purchase (I have to sleep with the accountant/bookkeeper, being married...

Most bender/die manufacturers will supply a die to the radius you want with little or no upcharge. If they already offer a 5.5 & 7" die, it's no big deal to cut one for a 6" radius.
Mittler Bros. did one for my "small" tube hand bender (I'd like to get a nice...

I have this one, from Mitler Bros. I only have one (1) die so far (7/8") but it's a quality tool. Planning to repair some McCulloch gokart chassis with it.
Can't beat this one, if you're going to go big:

When the EconoTig was first introduced (or at least when I first heard about it, about 1992?) it was the machine I wanted, as it looked like I could maybe afford it. Relatively speaking.
As it turned out, it wasn't until about 4-1/2 years ago that I really got serious and my work demanded...Last edited by Randy Forbes; 02-04-2009, 02:47 PM.

Who says you don't know what you're dooing?
Good job, I say!
For future Ferrari questions, you cannot beat the resources here: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/
You have my respect; I only carry $1,000,000.00 liability and work on $50,000.00 cars...

Yes, this works.
Put a few shavings of each in separate drops of vineager; the aluminum will do nothing, and the magnesium will react....

I agree. I repaired three (3) vintage go kart magnesium wheels yesterday. I've also done BBS (BMW) & Ferrari wheels. The BBS was a joy to weld on, quite free of contaminates. Ferrari and old McCulloch wheels are more challenging to get a porous-free interface of old & new.

Sounds like my story. I too like the convenience of having the Sharpie right at the jobsite.
BTW, I've gotten terrific support from Arc-Zone on replacement parts too....

Another plug for the Dynasty 200DX. I've had mine about 2-1/2 years and it's still just as good as the day I set it up.

Thank you Aaron. As it turns out, I just came in from the garage after finishing the weld up portion of that wheels restoration. I didn't use any backup, and really, I didn't have any trouble at all. It seem to go even easier than yesterday's "practice" wheel, so a little more practice...
