I know it's big bucks, I like the idea of a self contained unit. So I don't get the new bike this summer. I'd rather be making money any way. I have to be playing catch up for what I haven't made so far this year teaching.
Wow I actually started a good thread. I would never use the 302 for the work that I wan't the Air Pack for. I know that it was never designed for that kind of abuse. And your right, if I showed up on this job with it only I would be run off. You don't take a poodle to a pit fight.
Any one running one of these. If so are ya happy with it. Been thinking about getting one then builing a trailer for it. I'll keep the 302G in the truck, and pull this behind. If I get the job, I'll be cookin 1/2" carbons on a regular basis. The compressor would be very nice to have.
I think he said the digital guages are an upgrade and the block heater and something to do with the remote output. And yes that is in Canadian dollars which is about $8930.00 US dollars. Ric.
A co-worker at NAIT has a 2006 Vantage 300 with the kubota for sale. Has 300 hrs on it with all the upgrades and a remote with a 100 foot lead. He's looking for $10,500. Let me know if any one is interested. Ric.
Hey Coalsmoke, I'm a welding instructor at NAIT. I can do a little investigating for ya on the distance delivery. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. I might be able to help.
Hey wicked one, please tell me how you work through the 488. I set up a rig last July and have only done a few small jobs on the side. I have my b pressure ticket including a couple of recent small bore tickets. Right now I'm instructing at NAIT, but I sure would like to get some gravey on the side....
Has anyone had any experiance with this model of feeder. I thinking of getting one for my 302 trailblazer. I'm also looking at a Lincoln LN-25 which is the better way to go. Thanks, Ric.
I've been looking at a Lincoln LN-25 that I would like to run with my Trailblazer 302. Anyone have any experience with this machine hooked up to a portable? I know that it's a vs machine, but is there a way to hook it up using the 14 pin plug on the trailblazer and running it in the cv mode?
Hey Darmik I'm from the lower mainland. Been here in Alberta for about 5 years. Started my welding career in Richmond, then moved out to the valley. I must say that the standards out here are a lot stickier than B.C. Anyone can call themselves a welder out there, here it's a compulsary trade. Meaning...
I've just started my own portable welding and fabricating business and I'm thinking, what's the best way to drum up business. I'm an Alberta B- Pressure with about 18 years experience. Any ideas would be appreaciated.
