I got a direct response from Miller when I emailed. For the Sidekick XL the fan has a transformer that feeds 24v to the PC board.

Miller Sidekick XL won’t turn on

Hi all, I’m new to the forum and seeking help: )

I have a 1990 Sidekick XL 230 Volt with a GA17C gun. It won’t turn on. For the last while the fan has been a bit finicky coming on. Sometimes I have to jiggle the switch and it comes on. Now it won’t turn on at all. No fan, no...
