Okay. I am leaning toward the new solenoid idea also. I did another 45minutes of tinkering and no results yet. I think the new flow meter must have had something stuck inside the system that got lodged into the solenoid when I turned on the gas. The inlet side of the new flow meter has a very fine...

Okay. I tried the blowing it out backwards while cycling the pedal. Did not solve problem. Tried it a couple more times and still leaking. I took solenoid apart and blew it out and still leaking. Not sure how to get deeper into it then just taking off the fittings and cap. Any tips would help....

Okay. I have had a few days under the new helmet. The e684 is amazing. The optics are as good a promised. I like the grey/blue ish tint that the lense has and is crystal clear. I can't say I'm crazy about the headgear but it's serviceable. I prefer the headgear in my miller elite digital. ...

DIY glass big tig cup and lense
Been doing this for a while and thought I would share. I score and cut a Coca Cola bottle and sand the cut edge smooth. I sand a no 8 cup for a 20 torch and o ring fits perfect between glass cup and pink no 8. I use a bit of scotch brite or steel wool for gas lense. I use it for low amp D.C. On...4 Photos

Hey. I am in need of a new helmet. I have head all the threads pertaining to my questions. I am deciding between the optrel e 684 vs the vega 2.5. I would love to hear someone's personal experience that has tried both of those helmets. I will be using this exclusively for tig welding. Mostly D.C....
