What should I expect to pay for steel

I just got notice that my back ordered Miller Multimatic 215 multi process welder is being shipped after backorders stacked up on this machine due to the end of year rebate.

Anyway, there is a fair size Steel Yard, in my town and I was hoping to go there and get some small random pieces...

Portable Welding table experience recommendations options?

I would plan to mostly just wheel it around my shop but also maybe carry it in my pickup truck with cap for some possible odd jobs or emergency work.

Check Hitachi, had a floor standing model once it was a great price on sale $160 and worked pretty good, don;t know if it meets your criteria or not but worth looking at....

Well thanks everyone it came down to money and the best and most versatile I could afford was the Multimatic 215. Yes I know it has limitations but I figured if I out grow it I could probably sell it for a good price or probably just keep because of the portability.

So the Syncrowave 210 your saying is to much for me. I have made mistake of under buying on 80% of my purchases. I was thinking the Sycrowave 210 is about the lowest AC TIG machine?
