Thanks for the pics, couldn't tell much from the last 2 pics, the first pic would be very helpful but its hard to read. Where did it come from and maybe I could find it.

@Miklos,
Well the problem is all the decals for the switches are worn/faded off. I really need a pic of the front panel and the tig panel if anybody has that. Or if yours is still readable pictures would be much appreciated!

I have what I believe to be the same welder. Has anybody done any tig with it? I have the torch and gas set up, but I believe I just don't have all the switches in the right position.

Econotig arc problems
I have a used miller econotig that has some age on it but seems to be in good condition. I have it set for DC positive and welding mild steel and it will arc but doesn't seem to be transferring any heat, it just immediately melts the tungsten. Anybody know what the problem could be?

That was the problem. I had it hooked up wrong. Had no manuals or anything so i just assumed it hooked up one way but I got it now. thank you

Yes, gas valve seems to be fine. The gas just doesn't send from the main unit, so it doesn't even make it that far.

@H80N<br />
well i can trigger the gas with the regular mig gun and feel it coming out of the spoolgun, but the spoolgun itself won't trigger the gas to come on.

spoolgun not triggering gas flow
I have a millermatic 200 with the spoolmatic 1. Everything works fine except the gas wont flow when you pull the trigger. Any ideas?

The front panel is mostly faded, I see a spot that very faintly says serial at the botom right but there is nothing visable after it. I'm thinking it has to be stamped on a plate somewhere.
