They are free if you want them. They are super cheap at any radio shack also. I don't have the specs here at home but I do have them at work. I'll get the specs tomorrow and possibly the part number. Pm me for contacting me if you want the ones that came with my arc pig. I'm in the Chattanooga area

The electronic parts of that miller will be fine if you connect it correctly. I use 2 hf boxes on a regular basis. The miller hf251 and an arc pig. I never use the high frequency cap filters. Use good ground connections on everything around it and you should be fine. I have an extra set of the hf filters...

we put a plastic divider wall up to reduce sanding dust in the rest of the shop, now once a year I'll take covers off all my welders and blow any dust and dirt out. Keeping them clean will prevent lots of brain strain. Makes servicing easier and you can sometimes see potential problems before they cause...

I work at an auto repair shop...3 guy shop. We have the owner who does the business end and wrecker driving. Myself who does most the welding and all the mechanical repair and then the paint/body guy. I'm considering building a water cooler...here's my plan if it's any help. Heater core from a junker on the hill. 12 volt computer cooling fans from radio shack. 12v power supply. 10 amp battery charger. Water pump. The lincoln ls cars 2004-2006 area and maybe more have a small electric water pump...

I bought a set of sk sockets a couple years ago...the quality had already been chinaized... I have some old sk sockets that were in my late father's box, they are high quality...the ones I bought a couple years ago are made with a much lower quality. Thanks Ryan. I'll check them out.

I rarely ever use it...most my tigging allows me to take a break every few minutes and let the air cooled torch cool off...if I'm doing lots of thick aluminum I'll use it.

I don't have a fancy water-cooler, mine on the abp 330 has a valve very similar to the argon valve. When the welder is powered up the valve opens. I use tap water supply to valve and a drain hose through the wall and dumps outside....wastes water but it really doesn't flow like an open garden hose...just...

That is awful and I am so sorry to hear that. You are absolutely right about everything else just being an annoyance....

I've been welding for a month with my trusty busty duct taped 15 year old auto dark lincoln..49 dollar piece way better than that 469...made by save face. Cheap headgear hardware..has a broken tensioner nut on side. Made very poor. My 15 year old one has jumped out of my truck bed twice and still does...
