H80N , I have had good luck with trailblazers in the past. It's on my short lists .
MeltedMetal, The Ranger I'm using doesn't seem to pick up the power demand and adjust rpm correctly with the inverters.Often I get a power fault and the welder I'm running shuts down.

16ga 304ss works fine. I would recommend tacking the complete tank together before welding it out. Welding sections and then adding components may be problematic 16ga will try to warp making fit up hard. Use corner to corner fits and use lots of tacks. My company purchased one about 3 months ago. I use it weekly from quick repairs with the Mig to tig welding root pass on steam pipe . So far I am more than satisfied with the machine. I don't weld 40 hr a week with it . Light fabrication and field repair is what it does best. Time will tell if it will...
