When I do a job where everything cracked and bent up ,I tell them it’s not going be perfect but I’ll get as good as I can. If you want it perfect you’ll have to get new. Most are good with that

A good looking mig weld does not mean a good weld ,that is what happened here . I see this often on production welds . The factory edges of crack don’t have any sign of weld penetration...
