Definitly...anything i looked up mentioned the 'no connection to neutral' problem. Knowing this is what makes guys like you and Mac better mechanics. That ability to say..."something here just doesnt sound right"...L

I believe the NEC isnt even clear on 'bonding' the iso gnd bar to the neutral. With an iso gnd, you just dont want unwanted EMI between the source and the recep.(being picked up). Ive installed them but always bonded to neutral. In theatres, ive used isolated transformers which did the job better and...

10/2 is sufficient, whether BX or RX cable. If the 10/3 is already installed, it's ok, just overkill. Wire color is not important as long as they both land on the breaker. Bottom line, check the receptacle for voltage before plugging in.

I dont know if it will go as big as 1 1/4", but the wheels i get at Graingers come with bushings installed. Just remove them until the desired size.

You will if you use #12..LOL..As Hank said, use some #2. I have #2- 50' each on a 230 amp buzz box and i could push that to 100'...

What memory's! My ex used to do that EVERTIME with the brakes. Drive it till the pads fall off...fluid leaking...hun, for some reason, the brakes are low...LMAO
