Refrigerated cools to arond 35, then shop heats it up to 60 - 70 or more so you end up with...

I own all of my tanks. Local shops does 244 cf tanks for something like $275 purchase, then $35 to trade for filled (argon).

Keep looking. I found my local metal supplier/fab shop also sells welding supplies and gas. They sell larger bottles. My Ar bottle for Tig is a 175.

You can also negotiate. I did that on my plasma cutter. Local dealer quoted me a not bad price, but I could do much better on Inet. So we talked. I am willing to pay a bit more to local dealer to keep them there when I need to run down and get something need RIGHT now.
So he checked...

Lots of airplanes have been made with O/A. But it does seem to be that more and ore people are switching to TIG for bulding airplanes....

Bottom line, find a GOOD small business attourney and work with them. There are things you can do to limit your own liability, but there is NOTHING you can do to totally exclude YOU. It is WELL worth it. Any other advice you get is worth what you paid for it.
And for some more free...
