thanks, i do try and keep it perfectly straight, have u rollers and the tention is good, but i never tried to feed it by hand, always let it go to the "jog" mode and feed itself (this is what the sales rep told us to do), i will try what you said, thanks again!

we have the edge 30A push pill gun and when loading wire it seems to get right to gun and the must hit something and i end up with a rats nest back at the machine.

Thanks Dave that was a big help....anyone have any other feed back...how long will the bottle last??? bossman got us Breathable" compressed air? is that ok?
Id like them to get the 302 airpack...would that work well with the plasma?

we just got the spectrum 2050 for the truck but no compressor, bossman got us some compressed air bottles and i know they wont last long however i do need to hook this up for use and need to know if a quick connect air fitting is ok to use on the guage end....pics would be great if anyone can do that....and...

k iused it today and it was great for stainless 3/32 but when i tried to run a 7018 (even 3/32) it seem to be a pain to strick...i used it on 110 and never tripped a breaker and it was in my shed at camp wich is only a 15 amp service...any feedback??

Seen one during "Miller Days" and had a chance to run a 1/8" 7018 while it was plugged into 110...it ran decent and i was supprised although a few co-workers had problems of the rod sticking...well this weekend im welding a standing grate together for a fire pit and a friend has the maxstar...

Stainless will drip alot so if your doing overhead be sure to have long sleeves on....i like to kinna whip it but i hit it the wait for the "cherry" color to go away the hit it again...but thats overhead and just my liking...as far as a flat plate...use somewhat of a lower heat....90-100 for...

i use my spedglass hood...honestly...never change the setting from when i weld justgo at it...everyone in my shop does it too...just my 2 cents!

yea, and at the same time i was kinna bummed the Miller rep. didnt offer the airpac or point out the fact that it would be the way to go...either way i hope soon enough we can get a compressor so we got a good set up...just hate to nickle and dime a brand new set up...we will see what happens!

good buy...i use that hood and like it alot ... batteries last a long time and arent expensive...you"ll be pleased...as far as the Jackson hood why not do the same and put it on ebay or craigslist, you might get beat on your hood as well....
