omg you guys are scarring me...I'm pretty confident now that I can lay nice beads but they all have that sandblasted or grainy look...I never thought about it because this is my first machine so I don't know any better. I bought the machine in Dec 04.
When I look at KB Fabrications pictures I always see him having the heatgun goin Isn't preheat with a heat gun ok I'm even using a heat gun now lol....

Thanks for the response I understand you concern on the 120 plug...thats easy enough to switch up What do you think about the SJ cord and size is that appropriate? 10/3? Home Depot didn't have any SO cord
Dynasty 200 dx extension cord and arc shaping question
Hey All, I have 2 questions:
Extension cord
I was just wondering , I'm runing my dx off a 50ft extension of SJ 10/3 cord with a 230v plug on one end and a 120v receptacle on the other and a 120v plug on the dynasty. I use the DX mostly on the 230v. Is that cord setup ok? ...
So as a noob i have no idea what is grainy or not...if someone could look at these and tell me if these are grainy? I used various settings...I don't remember exactly what though
