Hmmm.... I will certainly check the mig gun harness... I tend to think that can't be it, however I did have it apart for some reason a few weeks ago. So maybe it does have some latent effect. I will try to check that tomorrow afternoon. Thanks so much for at least getting pointed in some direction....

Okay, here is the answer from the Miller Guru who called me. You can still hook up the Spool Gun to the Positive electrode on the machine, and THEN, you simply unplug the AlumaPro from the Spool Gun plug and plug in the the new spool gun. Then just switch it when you go back to the AlumaPro... A...

Here is a picture from the Miller website. I blew it up and added a couple of colored circles to it. The Red port is marked for the Spool Gun and the Green port is marked for the standard mig gun as is shown in the pic. However the AlumaPro gun has the larger plug that fits in the the Spool Gun port....1 Photo

I am going to give this thread a little bump.
The reason I am revisiting this is because I am back to needing the spool gun option for my 350P. I rechecked the front and the AlumaPro plugs in to the Spool Gun port. I will try to take a picture of that tomorrow when I am back in the shop....

3 Point Hitch Cart/Carrier
My project was to build a lightweight 3 point hitch cart for a customer. His situation was that he had a Kubota (45 horse) that he used to carry everything from firewood to chainsaws to garden implements to "you name it." I used a 350P with an alumapro gun. The welds came out reasonably well....3 Photos
