I do not know much about the 211, but even though the number is smaller, the 200 is stronger. It is a 250 amp machine. It has about, if not more, power than the current Millermatic 252. I enjoy my Millermatic 200 and would strongly recommend keeping it.

Don't get me wrong, I have seen really good welds, but I'm trying to think of a time where everything was the best is could possibly be. But, those guys are a lot better than me so I probably shouldn't be talking.

I don't think I have ever seen anybody lay down the perfect weld, there is always something you could improve on.

I have a miller spectrum 2050 I think, can't remember how old it is. But, I would probably get a hypertherm next, I have heard very nice things about them.

How long does it take til it thaws enough to weld or is it not that cold? Atleast it gives you buisness. Where are you at? Alaska?

The tractor I was talking about is made by a brand named Love (I'm not sure why), it's an orchard tractor and the point was to be able to go straight from the orchard to the store so it could reach speeds up to 60 mph.

To add onto what he said, it could be a mishmap of parts to make a welder. I have a friend that owns a Ford tractor made in WW2 that had a Ford v8 flathead engine and truck axle because they just used what they could find during the time. I'm no expert on welders or years for when they did what but...

So a friend just asked me today about a cabin water heater he wanted me to make. He showed me a sketch and it would be 2 barrels, the bottom one for the fire. I was thinking it was do able then realized it would make steam and pressure instead of just heating. Is there any way of building something...

That's what I originally thought, for the most part it looks simple if u have a notcher and a bender.
