Im going to be building a fuel tank out of 6061 1/8th alu. I will be using a dyn dx300. Should I be pulsing it? what would your settings be?? Most of the welds are going to be open corner filet welds. thanks for the help.

Do not buy the contractor kit.....I did, and the only thing that I use from that kit is the foot pedal and the ground clamp. I have upgraded eveything. Went to a flow meter and a weldcraft torch. try this web site. Arc-zone.com Very good after market stuff.

Im a Little confused as to Positive tungsten and negative tungsten. Im using a Dyn 200. Is there a time where you would want the tungsten neg or pos?? And how do you do it. thanks.

HAWK......good scoop on the AC welding on mild steel....I like it better than welding DC on mild steel. Seems to be cleaner and better control. thanks for the tip!!!

HAWK..thanks for the scoop....I will try that on my steel work....does it clean it better?? How much better does the DYN200 work when welding 1/4 ALU filet using the 75hel- 25arg?

Im running a water cooled #9 weldco torch with a gas lense...is that not good?? Or is that ok??

Im using 25% hellium 75% argon for my alluminum welding...works great. Can I use the same gas for welding mild steel? What is the best recomended set up for welding 3/16 square mild steel tubing? DYN 200DX thanks for your Help
