I def agree its a "me" issue lol... didnt think to use aluminum as my straight edge, i was using a scrap of 1/8" steel flat bar.. and the slag or blow out from the cut is what was being splattered onto the scrap, which would then block my traveling along it..

Well she came thru and will be using it this evening to finish up some orders.. got me the Classic ClearLight, already adjusted the fit and the settings, so its ready to put to the test.. my old one was giving me troubles again, so it will be nice to have one less thing to worry about.

Ok so finally found my calipers and here is what im trying to find.. so the threaded inserts that i tried to use for the customers install measure in at 9.47mm, so im not really concerned so much with the bolt that will be used, i just need a threaded insert that is bigger in size(shaft size) than 9.47mm...
