That is a good buy. The spoolgun is made by a company called CK Systematics. They are located in Mass. It has a very smooth arc for a single phase machine.

Prince XL

Yes the Prince XL is a good spoolgun. I have been selling them for ten years. And changing wire size with just the contact tip does work, it has for 37 years. It sells for $1250.00 new. I would not go above $500.00 for a used one.

You will have to polish, but you will get better color match if you use 1100. The tool box companies have done all the leg work for you. They all use 1100 for color match. It is a little hard to find in 1 pound spools, but you should be able to special...
