Did you guys think of adding the HTP Invertig 201 AC/DC to your comparison list? $2200.00, I think it stacks up great between the SD 200 and the TD 185.
The only complaints I have heard about HTP are from people who have never tried them.

Take half the bead from center to the same width of the original bead out to the left and to the right. Bi-sect the angle then lay a third (fourth including the original pass) between the two and be done with it.

Cast iron
I have been asked to weld an assortment of cast iron parts from antique wood burning stoves. Mostly broken feet and such. Does anyone have experience with these old stoves. I am assuming that the parts are all grey iron, I have not got them to tell yet. Experienced input would be greatly appreciate...

I do use duct tape! I got to send Red some advice though, when the duct tape rots and fails, it is a good idea to have a Vise Grip clamped in place for a backup, and after it rusts shut it becomes a permanent installation. There is a thread on the Hobart board that includes responses from an Onan rep. They are a division of Subaru.
