I don't think a maxstar150 uses a 14 pin. If I remember right it is a smaller 6 pin connector.

Tri Mix

The best Gas to MIG Stainless is a Tri Mix 90% Helium 7.5% Argon 2.5% Co2
For TIG Pure Argon
I don't think nitrogen would work for either process.

If I remember right your
(A) Momentary is just that when you push it it closes contact. When you release it breaks contact. Think of the trigger on a MIG torch. they are mainly used for a pre programmed sequence. Every time you bump it it goes into the next step.
(B) Rocker type Momentary...

Most TIG consumables are pretty inexpensive. you can get a pretty decent assortment of cups & caps for about 20.00 If I remember right the back caps are only 3-4 bucks a piece.
