I did the same thing ..went to Harbor Freight to pick up some castors when they were on sale. They work great on my tire carrier for my race tires.

If I remember correctly I used 8/4 wire. I copied over the layout of the plug from the welder and recepticle from the wall the electrician installed and made my ends. I just went to an electrical supply store after spending many fruitless times going to HomeDespot and Louwes...

I have one .. love it .. never regretted the purchase and I love it and I can weld just about anything that comes my way within the specs of the machine... and I love it and you will too

very nice .. love the assortment of machines ..... my only question is where is the sofa, tv and frig? You gots to have a lounge area to those mandatory rest periods
