Me personally would use a minimal of .095. that table with a 1/4" -3/8" top is what I would do.
And easily handle 500#

I guess we did I just got a chance to weld some aluminum today . Got it all figured out if some one else need some quick set up setting I wrote some down after hrs of figuring out the parameters. I like being able to fiddle with all the setting but its also a chore I haven't set up a dedicated station...

arcmaster 185 setting help.?
Im having trouble setting up to tig aluminum for some reason all the parameters seem backward upside down and I cant put down a decent weld yet. Im using 2% lathanaded. 3/32" at 150amps. What are some starter setting on this machine ?
