yeah that is a good idea. who would I be asking for though? subcontractors?. I dont want to be in the shop setting anymore, I sure would like to be out on the road pulling some 7 12's and good money for a little while.

Where to look for a job????
I finally have a good welder and I have no clue where to search for shutdown work or contract jobs here in texas. Anybody have any hints on how I would search the net to find em? or do I have to just know someone? thanks for your helpi have searched for contract welder, welder per diem,...

HAHAHA well I loosened the fuel cap and it ran a lot longer then there is a screw to allow the fuel to flow from the bowl and I just opened it a little more and it ran like a champ. that saved me about 130 bux on a walbro carb. thanks soooo much for all your help guys.

k Im gonna try that cuz I did tighten the cap right before we started welding with it for the first time. That will make me feel pretty silly if it works. haha...

bluestar 2E 1985 fuel issues please help?!?!?
It is the 0h 160 with walbro carb 631680. The previous owner removed a fuel pump and it gravity feeds from the tank. I can idle with it forever and I can rev it up by hand and I can even weld with it for about 2 minutes then she just dies. Do I need another carb or put on a new pump or new carb kit...

yes I did. thanks for the info. I am leaning towards just trying to sell it all and save up for something a little newer because if it dumps out on me I will be losing an arm and a leg to fix it.

1984 bluestar 2E engine swap???retrofit???
Well I have recently become the proud owner of a 2E with the 16hp tecumseh and looks like it has led a full life. I have priced what replacement parts I could find and they are worth way more than I paid for the whole setup with a trailer haha. I am gonna surely run it till it falls off the welder but...

I have a 1985 bluestar 2e with (16 hp tecumseh that is gone) Any body tell me what the numbers are so I can find out how to replace it or is there a cheaper alternative engine that I could use because word is the old school tecumseh packs a hefty pricetag. what would I even begin to google? what about...
