Let it air out for as long as you can, run car exhaust in it for a while (nuetralizes atmosphere), fill it with water then use a cutting wheel on a grinder to make your first cut. I cut my whole tank on my smoker with a cutting wheel but i think that once you make an initial cut you can go to fire...

Our welding supply guy was acting like there wasnt enough wire in this area to do the job but the more I think about it the more I think he eats paint chips. HE just might...

Easy question for the pros.
How much filler should I figure per foot of weld to MIG stainless. It is 1/4" and 1/2" stainless pieces. I dont need to get down to the exact ounce but just a general multiplier you guys might use would help tremendously.
Thanks
Josh

SHE BE BROKEN IN!!! Started this morning at about 7. Had the ribs done by noon. Tried to keep around a 200-250 degree fire (except when I took my nap after physically exhausting myself yelling at the TV during the Texas game and let the fire die to about 125-150). Pulled the briskets off at about...Last edited by joshcarlegis55; 10-18-2009, 05:09 PM.

I have always cooked on cheap offsets that were bought at academy and didnt have any plates but from what I can gather, basically they are plates underneath your cooking surface that can be put in or out to control the heat on your food. Normally I have too many Keystones in my belly by the time food...
