Smith’s setting is 10 both oxy acy
That’s my go to up to #9 tip
Unless cutting or using rose bud never needed over 10 it’s more about proper tip size per material

No reason you couldn’t. You would just need to switch polarity manually.
Flux core is smoky for in shop.
Did you ever try dual shield?
If not give it a try, it runs much better than flux core and is shop friendly.

Yes your welder will work. In fact any welder will work also can use or start with battery from truck. But works better with welder.
You hook up to standard Oxy bottle and only use welder to inititate the burn of the cutting rod add Oxy and off...

350-P will run flux core. I’m assuming you mean dual-shield flux core. Ran tons of it with my 350-P. Will be no benefit to weld dual-shield in pulse mode. Switch to straight mig for dual-shield.

I hv 30A so not familiar with ur gun. Is there adjustment for drive roll tension. If so back off so there is just enough tension to feed wire. Very easy to crush Alumn wire and cause this.

The pipe pro has the dig setting incorporated in the selector switch. The Big 40 is old school same as the Lincoln. But can obtain same results. This picture is in the 2012 Big 40 manual I’m not sure if it’s in the 2008?
Try setting as you would Lincoln and should put u in ball park.
