That is real nice bumper, I'm planning on building one for my s10 very similar. What gauge steel did you use? also, do you mind sharing that solidworks file? If not I understand.

excellent build. I've got a tank hiding behind my shed waiting for me to do the same thing.

I have a roll of ER70S-6 from harbor freight in my machine right now. I am not a professional nor very experienced, but it seems fine to me. If somebody could tell me specifically what is/could be wrong with it, maybe I could spot it.

do them now, if they are leaking then they do not meet the specs printed on the can. I'd guess the machine in not operating at 100%, even if it seems fine.

I don't have a lot
Impact wrench
ratchet
Die Grinder - straight and 90 deg
air hammer
I would love to get some nailers, but they are too expensive for a DIYer like myself

not a bad idea. I know Honda recommends that you do not reuse the axle nut, and they sound like they they are retained in a similar fashion to yours....

I have an old rolling office chair that I removed the back and arms from to make it a stool. the back was kinda messed up when I, ummm, freecycled it from the dumpster. Pretty much perfect for me since I can raise and lower it depending on my work height.
You can't beat free

you may or may not like sprint, but if you can show me a carrier that has a 100% coverage area, I'll eat my shoes.
You have just pointed out the absolute biggest problem with these type units. A lot of them don't work real well, if at all, in a windowless steel building. What do you...

Just leave the hitch in it. Oh wait, nevermind.
I would try and just load it up good with some sort of grease once you have it clean. that will at least keep it mostly rust free and easy to get dirt out with a hose or air gun....

now that is a good idea! just gotta find somewhere to do that at. theres got to be a parking garage I could "accidentally" bump while backing into a space....

True, it's obviously a better solution in an older car/truck...
