Arc Timer/Counter, Dynasty, Acceptable Hours vs Value?
The difrence between 100 hours and 500 hours is to close and I would say be worth about the same. At that point I would look more at what year it was manufactured. They have a 3 year warranty, so I would pay a little more for a welder...

TIG, even a blind squirrel...
Pure tungsten is for transformer based tig welders, keep using the orange/gray (new color) 2% ceriated on your inverter.

Vertical technique
Whip is just moving the rod out of the puddle, allowing it to freeze, then back in the puddle. In vertical that would be moving it up slightly and back down into the puddle. Usually done with a 6010 rod and not a 7018 rod. Great for filling gaps.

Wireless Remote Question
I would think they are paired together. They don't seem to have a code to switch for different sub frequency.
Good question, hope someone has the real answer

Time for a New Miller
I would just get the 211. The multimatic 200 is just an enduro of welding, not great at one task but will do it all.
Just my .02

Any New Jersey shops have an aluminum hookup?
I use R S Phillips in Vernon NJ, prices are a little high, it's only a mile or so from my house though. They are also a full feb shop and supplier. They do all the sheering and bending I need.

I can't see the whole caster, can't you just cut the shaft for the caster and leave the plate?

Dynasty 200 dx. Help-1 error
I would check how you have it wired up. For 220V it should be black to one leg of power, white to one leg of power, green to neutral and red not used.

miller dynasty 200 dx
I use a miller bobcat 250 when 120/220 is not within 75' of where I am welding. I have a 75' 8 awg extension cord and twist lock adapters for 110 and 220 volt.
A lot has to do with the amperage your welding. Be more specific with your question. Do a search,...

No bad luck here, just saying the weld pics looked like an add for green, not a pic to show your welds. Don't be so up tight....

hr / Rate per helper
I charge the same rate for a helper. If its a 2 man job, I charge for 2 men. If its a 1 man job I only charge 1 man. I don't get the luxury of doing hourly work though. My customers want it cut and dry, price per job.

Totally agree, welding galvanized is no worse for you than welding any other steel and should be treated with the same precaution. Most of the fumes it gives off are zinc.
Barbecue or smoker?...
