I've got an Evolution Raptor dry cut saw........had it for over 2 years now ....still on the original blade that came with it...........and I've had a ton of material through it from 4x4 1/4 wall on down without any noticeable dropoff in the blades cutting ability.. Jim

Nocheepgas pretty much hit it right on the head..........I have a dedicated 110 welder just for sheetmetal setup with .023 wire .......it never gets touched.....it's dialed in .Gor for good fit for your panel....I like to fit oversize.........,cleco in place then trim the body to fit the patch and weld...

I guess the general consensus is the "shrinking" hammers with the pattern just mess up the panel and don't work?
The shrinking hammers work good if you are trying to cold shrink a panelI have a couple I use quite often and you can move alot of metal around with them...

HI GUSB do you have access from the backside ?? Heat shrinking with a torch would be the way to go.Shrinking disc works well also but it helps if you have access so you can hammer and dolly before quenching with a cool rag.....Even with hammer dolly access heat and a cool water soaked rag will take...

Were yous weating while you were welding???Got zapped by my lincoln 300/300 a few times on hot sweaty days........definitely a wake up call to change jackets ,gloves and anything else soaked with sweat.Jim
