Does anyone know the average shop rate for welders in texas?

a good chop saw is a necessity. A grinder- you can get by with a 4 1/2" grinder but make sure you get a good one because if not you will replace them on a regular basis. torch setup.

I have a millermatic 135 and a solution I found that works good is to use a bigger tip than the wire I am using in the machine. Another thing to look at is if your whip is kinked, when welding with it keep it as straight as possible. You might also use some anti-spat for the nozzle. Hope that helps

I usually charge 45/hour when I'm welding in the field, I just got my shop finished and I'm wondering if I should charge the same for shop work? Any suggestions?
