She won't buy the ambulance bit. I'm a paramedic and she knows I will never ride in an ambulance as a patient. The rest would be funny but she'd kill me later. Maybe I'll try it and try to film.
Here's a funny Calvin and Hobbes comic about chainsaws. Reminds me of when I was...
Well after researching all the consumable available for each machine, I have decided to step up the 40A. Still up in the air about Miller or Hypertherm. I'll have to talk to my sells rep at National Welders about what they keep in stock and turn around time on parts they have to order.
Thanks for all the advice. It looks like I have a lot more research to do.
I'm not really sure if I should step up to the a 40A machine since I don't weld as a profession. The thickest material I consistently work with is 1/4" MS.
I've narrowed it down to the Miller 375 and the Hypertherm 30C. I need some expert advice on which one. I don't care about price, I want the one that performs the best.

We got three new ambulances in at work with the wrong oxygen brackets in them. They sent us the correct ones but, the holes that are drilled in the aluminum diamond plate hit where the new bracket is welded. I need to make plates that have a bolt threaded into it to mount the brackets. I have never...
I would take the pedal apart if it's not to much of a hassle and see if you have any frayed wires that could be shorting out or grounding out. Also check to make sure any contacts are not sticking in the pedal.
If everything checks out in the pedal, try flexing the cable from the pedal...
How long has the problem been going on? It could be the pedal since you have the argon flow. It also could be that the breaker has gone bad, age of the breaker doesn't matter. It could be brand new and had go bad the first time you turn it on.
Bert, we got the hinges at Lowes. I can't remember what the weight capacity is but I do know you can adjust the spring tension. The hinges are made by Stanley.
