What I did

I have a 301G trailblazer and had no trailer so I had the same problem.So I rigged up a wrench 3,700 pull mounted it on a 3/8" plate and bolted the plate on the top of my truck bed built a frame with small wheels for the welder built some ramps and off i go.Mabe you could...

I had the same problem with my 350sync it ended up that the points were pitted after I changed them the problem was corrected.

PS this was happening on AC mode. "Good luck"

If you can get a hold of it use pure tung. or Zirconium tungsten. Is the aluminium mill as it does look like it if so you don't need to prep it.Just weld & go with it not that you need it but for a stronger weld I'd go with 5356 wire if you are painting it 4043 will work but if...

May be a dumb question but what about the toxins aluminiam gives off when you put flame to it.would'nt that contaminate the food?

I have done Ano. Alum. for around 10yrs now its cake for me now I never use pulse.I use a router with a four flute milling bit or on thin alum.I use a 41/2" grinder with a milk wheel it cleans of the Ano. nicely. Start my puddle and go.

Razor

Squig your correct thay are called Razor blades.And your right razor work real nice but you can always use the plasma for more detailed work.I have the 2050 on my trailblazer 301G and its a nice thing to have around.Cuts steel & aluminium like a dream.
