Walt, As was suggested, did you have your incoming power checked out? And did you take your machine to another location to try it there. Since this also affecetd your Maxstar, and you have eliminated all other variables, I would suspect your incoming AC.

One thing not mentioned yet is aluminum. I used a friends 210 with a spoolgun for light aluminum (1/8") and it did the job OK. When it came time for a new machine in my shop, I got the 251 with a 30A spoolgun. After using the 210, the 251 exceeded my expectations and does all I need it to do in...
