You said you were going to use a 6.5 motor from your go-cart so i'm assuming thats a gasoline engine. If you did use that it would have to be placed outside and you have the problem of protecting the compressor from the weather adding more money to the project. just a thought cause we all know about...

Latest Project
Heres a nice little coffee table I just finished this evening. I webbed in all the corners with 1/4 round bar. I've been wanting to do a project with webs in it for a long time. I'm quite happy with the way they turned out. The top is 1X6 pine with a Minwax puritan pine stain topped off with 4 coats...

Its the same story with me, My thunderbolt hates the ESAB 7018 it'll stick and spatter but it will run prostar and bluesheild 7018 with no problem. Then I'll go to work and the ranger 250 and idealarc will just eat up the ESAB rods. Its funny how these things happen.

It was Canadian, We pay an arm and a leg for steel here in atlantic canada,
I just bought 3 feet of 3X3X1/8 square tubing for about $10 a foot.

Well just to give you an idea of what I pay here in Canada, 20ft of 4inch channel was $108
13 ft of 2inch sch40 pipe - $77 @ $6ft
16ft 1 inch sch40 - $52 @ $3.30ft
I don't buy much sheet or alum. so I can't compare to that

Heres the stand for my Miller and the cart for the Lincoln. They're both fairly simple. the only feature really are the cable holders....
