I have a Miller Elite. I had it for about 18 years now. Coin batteries hold up well. Changed head gear on it, paint is all messed up on outside. I am now having trouble with battery holders due to dry rotting and breaking. I may have to replace it soon. Its been a really good helmet for me.

Hey Guys,
I did the tip upgrade and it helped some. I have the 3035 Spoolmate. I am running Profax .035 tips with 5356 wire. I don't weld aluminum as much as I do steel, but I have been welding aluminum a good bit these last few weeks. I am going through tip about every 6" of weld...

I have attached images on the contact points on the new contactor I just had replaced. Do these marks look normal for a contactor that has less than 5lb of wire run through it? When it was replaced a few weeks ago the machine welded fine then it started doing the same thing it was doing before we replaced...

Used Plasma worth?
Hey Guys,
I have a plasma cutter, PROCUT 55 that works fine. I am looking to upgrade and was interested if anyone knew a fair asking price for it? Its was purchased years ago and been a good unit. I changed out the torch several years ago, and just recently changed out the two circuit boards...

Thanks for all the help on this issue. I looked closer into the wire and it was blackish in color and tarnished some what for the first 18" from the work clamp end. Alone with the work clamp was in bad shape. So I replaced the clamp with a brass one as suggested and replaced the wire and wire end...
