Yep definite improvement on the last two pics, looks pretty strong. My hat is off to a man who TIG welds a whole trailer, I always wanted to do that but never had the time.

I welded with high frequency tig on my boat yesterday about a foot away from my motor. In retrospect it probably wasn't the smartest thing the power pack didn't cross my mind. I did however disconnect the batteries and connected the ground about three inches from where I was welding with no ill effects....

Looks good I have one very similar to that. Your tool box is way better than mine though I just stuck a knaack (gang box) on mine, I like yours better though way more storage.

I appreciate the tip I didn't know that. We have a couple of the maxstar 150 they are very handy for small jobs. We TIG 95% of our stuff I HATE the stainless stick rods. Your welds look good though a lot better than if I tried a stainless stick.

I agree let them get dirtyHeck I the first time I went on a drilling rig I could barely walk. I think it taught me respect being around things like that when I was younger
