Hey Frost, you won't regret that decision. We just bought one too. It runs our 60Amp plasma spool gun or wirefeeder like a dream. The lift arc on the tig works sweet too. Glad I talked the boss into spending a few more bucks on this as opposed to the (ahem) Lincoln Ranger.

I just bought one for the company I work for. We use it primarily for stick on light structural and mig on ductwork. My guys just love it. There isn't much price difference between the two and as far as I'm concerned they are miles apart.
I looked at the lincoln as well, but never concidered...

I was told to never use them where strength was required because coat hangers are made of the crappiest steel alloys.

I think the Tri AD paper covers the southern ontario region. Maybe the Buy & sell? May have listings in the Sudbury & Barrie areas....Do you have a BOC Gasses, Air Liquide, Airgas or Praxair dealer in your neck of the woods?

I would check the Tri-Ad newspaper. Sometimes local welding supply houses have trade-ins or know of equipment for sale. You may have a hard time locating a 220V single phase machine, as they seem to go quickly. What part of ON are you in?...

Hi Folks. I just signed up and thought I'd say hello. I'm in Guelph, Ontario Canada. I'm a project co-ordinator (Ex-fabber) for a fab shop. I love Miller gear above all others, but don't have enough of it at home yet. I have to say its my first choice gear at work though.
