air requirements for blasting
for a 1/4 inch orifice it takes approx 100cfm @100-125 psi and is a very productive set-up. for small jobs a pressure blaster with a 1/8" orifice will work very well with 50 cfm and give you good production (also @100-125 psi)

weldon, it appears that nobody is impressed with your experience or your trash talking, working for flour/daniels not withstanding.

weldon, you need more experience. in this day and age, if you continue making statements saying that stick welding can keep up with mig processes, you are showing your ignorance. while stick welding is extremely versatile and will never be eliminated by mig processes, you cannot compare productivity....

td 186 vs dynasty 200dx
would appreciate some feedback from members who might have used both. plusses or negatives. also feedback on the torch-mounted controls would be nice. thanks. i realise this is a miller sponsored forum, but a little constructive critique on both machines is possible i think.

my apologies, i assumed boomertoo was referring to a engine/generator sae 400. i never knew them to be other than stick machines (cc). i am not questioning you just your response. if the sae 400 is a variable voltage stick machine, should the 12vs feeder control be set on cc? thanks, tom....

cruizer, i am confused, if the sae 400 is a variable voltage machine wouldn't you run the 12vs on constant current setting? (? on your post #9.) thanks tom....
