Probably have 200+ hrs. of gouging holders off rota mill drums with my 300SM. Being it was all night work following the rota mill crew around I bought the Pow Con in 84-85 to run off the 3 phase generator side of my old Hobart 300 portable so we could also have lights.

We repaired aluminum dump trailers in my shop day after day for over 20 years with two PA 3A Airco welders hooked up to XR 30 Miller feeders, sweet running units. That included every thing from total refloors on 34 footers to rebuild after wrecks....

Well I had a AO Smith AC bee hive welder that just about laid me out twice in one day when changing rods. Was so hot and humid the sweat was pouring off me and even the concrete floor was sweating. And yes I was wearing gloves....

I always read but know nothing about any of the newer machines. My newest welding power source is at least 30 years old and the rest go back to the 50's. well I did forget the 1997 251 trail blazer.

I have a 1997 Miller 251 gas but it only has a 4500 generator.
