How does a pipe cert, make you certified to weld aluminum wheels! I know that Les schwab will not put a tire on a wheel that has been welded!

Just wondering why you replace ALL your hand tools every two years? I have had mine on my truck for 10+ years! Only replace broken, lost or stolen ones!...

Sorry to here that! I run a small portable welding biz here in Buhl Idaho! There is not a lot of work going on right now! I guess i have been lucky that my phone is still ringing, but most calls are for small little jobs! Nothing big at all! I get two to three calls a week from guys looking for a job!...

7018 or flux core would be what i would use! 7018 if a cert was needed! Been wanting to get a cert with flux, just haven't yet!

I agree with Danny on this one. I'm not trying to offend anyone but the welds do look cold and inconsistent! What welder was used?

That would be neat, Trailblazer 302 Air Pak that can run on electricity and gas! Except the price!

if i get a call that one of my welds broke then I would repair it at no cost. If it was brought to me to fix then my normal rate would be 60$ hour.

Use a grinder first, prep work it the key to any good weld.

What kind of bed would require to remove a cross members. All that I have ever seen/had installed above the frame....

I have 1 mil general liability that runs 1200 a year. Most of my contracts require at least 300k liability

So you are saying that the hf box with the trailblazer can not produce Xray quality weld. If it is kept within its limits I find that it would. Im not saying the dynasty is not better, im just saying the hf on the tb is not that bad....

If someone is qualified to tig aluminum, then i don't see why it can't be done with the hf box and a trialblazer. I now the dynasty is better but i would think that in the right hands the hf with tb would be fine.
