I was raised using Open End, Box End, and Combination Wrench as the accepted Terminology... And use "Spanner" Wrenches when rebuilding Ford 9" Removable Carrier Differentials, or Hydraulic...

In post #14, you mention using Wire Wheels to clean your work prior to welding, but in posts #1, and #2, the metal you show has NOT been cleaned properly prior to welding or tacking, so you are trying to establish arc through Mill Scale and Oils...
