you should see a difference in wire speed by the dial on the gun and the display wire feed number will change at least it does on our 251x and 252

another thing you need to think of when figuring voltage drop is what gauge wire and how long it is in the wall from the main panel to the outlet. i have been in buildings that when a 10 amp battery charger is plugged directly into the outlet the voltage drops to 80 volts .

i just use my ground clamp to cut the wire it looks like a porcupine most of the time. just touch the wire where you want to shorten it and bump the trigger

I work on construction equipment and i usually just replace the pad when they brake unless its going to auction of something like that. a track pad is a high stress area

nice looking blaster but if you you use it a lot it will wear through the t fitting on the bottom, on commercial unit the t is actually a 4 way fitting with a plug in the bottom so there is more material there to wear.

millermatic 185 spool gun kit
i read on this thread http://www.millerwelds.com/resources...atic185&page=3, that there was a kit for connecting my older 185 to a spool gun i think its a 1996 model by the serial number kg189635. i know its the first one national welders...

i would watch using carbide blades on metal i thought it was a good idea until the carbide tips started coming off i now use blades used for metal cutting

i found the hard way that all steel company's don't have the same price call around and get prices before you buy. I bought some 1 inch square 16 gauge at one dealer in charlotte nc and paid 48 dollars for 20 feet call another place and for the same piece of steel it was only 12.75.Needless to say i...

i have a saw just like that and it cuts well but you have to cut slow of it wont cut straight
