Prefaced with I'm a weekend warrior so it's far from perfect but the mm210 hadn't gotten to make sparks in a while and I got the tank for $100 so I figured I'd give it a shot. Ways to go but it's getting there.

I purged the tank with soapy water and tsp. Cut out the gauges/valves out....

I used to be a Red Wing guy but they started manufacturing some of their boots in china so I started looking around. Found Thorogood Boots. They have lasted much longer than the last pair of Red Wings and I am sold on them. Worth checking out.

I have been using barrel hinges for everything because I couldn't find these. I'm going to use them for my doors for sure, may even try them on my firebox. That company, Trinity Expedition Outfitters, seems like good people. I got the product last night and it's perfect. On top of that they noticed...

Looking for ideas. I've been building a few backyard bbq pits and I'd like to build a trailer pit or two but don't have a fork lift to move around big pipe. Talking 30" pipe, 1/4", 10' long. Any ideas? I was thinking gantry but anyone have other ideas?

I'm considering trading for a used 350p. Wondering what value to estimate for a used one with an LF serial number. Software recently updated and supposedly only had about 4 rolls of wire through it.

And problem areas to be especially concerned with? How durable are these machines?
