I never go below 40-45 cfh even inside. Don't push dual shield if you can help it, drag it.
Approx. 3/4" stick out.
Has the wire been in high humidity for a while? Just some things I've had problems with in the past.

Little more info. would help. Type of wire, straight CO2, material thickness, joint prep, etc? Example would be 1/16" Triple 7, straight CO2. Good starting point would be 25V, 175in/min. See attached link.

Which model is it? See attacked link. It will tell you the pressure range and inlet connection. If it's an SR600-125-540 your in luck. But it's likely a 350 or 500 psi range which is a little high for your application.

Download the owners manual. P-6 looks like low input voltage.

Dave got me to think, he’s a sharp guy. If the Q300 came with the 12RC it could/probably has a .045”-1/16” liner (#44215). The .035”-.045” liner is part # 44115. The link below shows what the Bernard gun numbers mean.

I’m pretty sure that the gun you have comes with a .035/.045 liner so you should be good to go.
You can get a conversion kit(NS-FLX Self-Shielded Conversion Kit). It’s actually is only two pieces.

Righand, You make me laugh, so true! I wear dirty white coveralls in the summer. Much more comfortable since I got rid of those special straps.
