Been down this road myself. Finding liability insurance to cover you for mobile work can be challenging. Most insurance companies want nothing to do with spark makers. Talk to other folks in your area doing similar work....

The synchrowave machines are not machines for mig welding. You won’t like how it welds with solid wire and a CC only machine.

I’ve seen that on heavy plate in the past. Slightly rounded edges. We didn’t want that round edge for what we were doing so we cut it off and squared our use edge with the radiagraph track cutter....

Which engine is in your machine?
I have many hours on an older BB400. It only had an oil pan heater for a winter heater because of the air cooled Deutz engine. They also have glow plugs on them.Last edited by snoeproe; 04-29-2021, 07:31 AM.

Engine is a Kholer. You can see it on the air filter cover.
You never know with these units until
you go check them out....

There’s no keeping the heat in in winter and removing the smoke unless you get a commercial air filtration unit installed. That isn’t going to be cheap.

I had a bluestar 2E. A few years older than that style. Same operating panel. I miss that machine. Welded great and was low cost. Mine had a 16hp Tecumseh gas motor.
Sold mine a few years ago for $800 with factory cover and home made wheel cart, still in very good conditionLast edited by snoeproe; 05-11-2020, 07:42 AM.
